It’s almost time to Step Into the Spotlight!
With the show fast approaching we ask that everyone make an extra effort to come to all scheduled rehearsals. The Saturday and Sunday run throughs are particularly important as we take stock of how the overall show is coming together. Our stage manager Mike Kurylewski will also start attending rehearsals in the coming weeks.
Containers for Change Recycling and Fundraising
If you have any water bottle or canned drinks at rehearsal please place it in the collection bin provided rather than in the rubbish bin as we participate in the Containers for Change program as a fundraiser.
Behind the scenes filming this weekend
This weekend Saturday 23-Nov and Sunday 24-Nov Jason Whiting who films the performances for us will attend part of the rehearsal time to take footage for the Behind the Scenes montage. Although it will be a general video of all dances edited into a short sequence, please let us know if you don’t want to be included in the filming.
We ask everyone to wear your normal leotards and rehearsal gear for the days but ask you to make sure your hair is neat and tidy. And bring your smile!
Shoes and Tights
The Shoes and tights list for the show has been published on the website for a few weeks.
If you haven’t already done so, please check the list and ensure that you have your items sorted.

Black colour change for the Reindeers shoes can be purchased at the canteen. The elastic on the shoes should be left pink. Any questions please ask your teacher.
Black colour change for the Elves shoes can be purchased at the canteen. The elastic on the shoes for the Elves should also be painted black. Any questions please ask your teacher.
If you need to purchase shoes from the studio please ask the ladies at the canteen this weekend and they will assist you.

Costume accounts
We will be issuing costume accounts in the coming days and ask that these are promptly paid through the portal. If you paid a deposit this will have been reflected on your account and offsets the final balance.

Costumes issued and Photo Day
Costumes will be issued the 30-Nov for Step Into the Spotlight and Gala Classique with group photos co-ordinated by your teachers during the rehearsal times.
Please ensure you have your hair and makeup done.
For Christmas in Storyland costumes will be issued on the 1-Dec with group photos co-ordinated by your teachers during the rehearsal times.
Please ensure you have your hair and makeup done correctly and bring plenty of spare bobby pins for your headgear.
Individual or family photos are only possible at the end of the session as there is limited time available on the days.
